Lauren Berger, MPH, Senior Director of Patient Services Programs at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society discusses some of the programs offered by the foundation specifically for oncology nurses.

Berger says The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society offers telephone and web education programs for nurses. These programs are 1-1.5 hours in length and nurses can participate on the web live or once the program has already been broadcast. Nurses can earn CE credit by participating in these programs.

Programs are also conducted at the 61 local chapters located around the United States, Berger says. Nurses can participate in person at any one of these free of charge.
