Jennifer Klemp, PhD, MPH, and director of Cancer Survivorship at The University of Kansas Cancer Center, discusses the importance of measuring outcomes in survivorship care.

Considerations must be made for both the clinical side and the business side, which is where metrics come in. In order for healthcare to work, outcomes need to be measured and evaluated. This gives guidance for improvement as well as financial implications.
